WMU
The WMU, or Women's Missionary Union, is a dedicated group of ladies who work together to do Christ's work both locally and
globally through their support of various outreach projects. Known informally as the "tea ladies", they are always looking for ways to
serve those in need.
Recent Events
3/9/10 Dinner Meeting with presentation on Annie Armstrong's "Living with Urgency" program
Easter Baskets were donated to the Sheltering Arms home in Orange, a shelter for homeless families.
5/9/10 A Mother's Day Bake Sale, after the Worship Service, raised more than $100 for mission work.
Thank you to all who donated delicious baked goods for this worthy cause.
The next WMU meeting will be held 10 AM Thursday, June 10th.
NOTE: THE WMU IS STILL COLLECTING FOOD ITEMS TO "FEED THE HUNGRY".
NON-PERISHABLE (CANNED) ITEMS LIKE TUNA, SOUP, BEANS, CORN,
ETC. ARE ESPECIALLY APPRECIATED.
The WMU is currently collecting school supplies and will be donating backpacks with school supplies to local school children. If you would like to donate school supplies for this worthwhile project, contact us at
